Cofounder at Wiseair

Carlo Alberto Gaetaniello has worked in various roles since 2017. In 2017, they were an intern at Riviera, a Japanese company working in the retail market of Italian tiles in Japan, where they worked at their showroom in Tokyo mainly dealing with public relations with customers. In 2019, they became the COO and Cofounder of Wiseair, which empowers cities to achieve clean air through accessible and actionable information. That same year, they also participated in the First Ascent program, an exclusive, all-expenses-paid, 3-day retreat organized by Bending Spoons celebrating 20 of the very best university students in Italy with a passion for business and an interest in tech companies. In 2020, they became a Contract Researcher at Politecnico di Milano, where they developed a Mixed-integer Linear Programming solution algorithm for the optimization of supply chain for biomass conversion. Carlo Alberto also joined Futurely as a Mentors Empowering Team, where they are in charge of coordinating the team of Mentors.

Carlo Alberto Gaetaniello obtained their Diploma from Liceo Scientifico A. F. Formiggini in 2014. Carlo Alberto then went on to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Energy Engineering - Stream: Preparatory to Nuclear Engineering at the Politecnico di Milano, which they completed in 2017. Following this, they enrolled in a Double Degree Programme at Alta Scuola Politecnica and a Master of Science in Energy Engineering - Stream: Power Generation at the Politecnico di Milano, both of which were completed in 2019. In 2018, they also took a Specialised Course in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies at the School of Entrepreneurship & Innovation (SEI). Additionally, Carlo Alberto Gaetaniello has obtained certifications in the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (N4 in 2014, N3 in 2016, and N2 in 2018) as well as an IELTS score of 7.5 in 2016.
