Paul Winter

Paul Winter is an experienced professional in clinical research and STEM education, currently serving as a Student Mentor for STEM careers at Brightside since January 2022. Paul has been a Science Ambassador for STEMNET since April 2014, promoting science careers in schools across Greater London. Active in the WISE Campaign, Paul advocates for gender balance in science, technology, and engineering since November 2017. Paul’s substantial corporate experience includes various leadership roles at GSK from January 2000 to March 2014, including Senior Director of Clinical Research and Global Head of Clinical Operations for Neurology and Psychiatry. Previously, Paul held positions at Glaxo Wellcome and Eli Lilly and Company, contributing significantly to clinical development strategies for new medications. Education includes a Ph.D. in Physiology and Pharmacology from St George's, University of London, and a Bachelor's Degree in Human Biology from the University of Surrey.
