Augusto Povoa has extensive work experience in international sales and marketing, with a focus on the irrigation industry. Augusto has held various roles at Rain Bird, including Head of International Sales & Marketing, International Sales Executive, Corporate Accounts Manager, Agricultural Sales Manager - Americas, International Sales Manager, and Global Brand Manager - Agricultural Products. In these positions, they led global growth and expansion efforts, developed and implemented strategic plans, managed sales teams, cultivated major accounts, and increased revenues. Augusto also worked at WiseConn USA as a National Sales Manager. Prior to that, they worked at Weld-On as an International Sales Manager, where they opened and developed new international markets and managed sales and logistics. Augusto also has experience in irrigation design and export management at WesTech Engineering and served as a Professor at Utah State University, where they were a thought leader on irrigation.
