Burak Yildiz

Burak Yildiz, Ph.D., currently serves as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Wisedocs since October 2025. Prior to this role, Burak was the Engineering Lead and founding Senior Engineer at Skinopathy, where contributions included the end-to-end development and scaling of the SkinopathyOS platform for dermatology care from June 2021 to October 2025. Burak also held positions at Adastra North America as Data Science Practice Lead and Data Scientist from May 2018 to October 2021, managing analytics and machine learning projects across various sectors. Earlier experience includes working as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at the University of Waterloo, focusing on optimization and algorithm design. Burak earned a Ph.D. in Management Science and a Master of Applied Science in Applied Operations Research from the University of Waterloo, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from TOBB Ekonomi ve Teknoloji Üniversitesi.
