Francesco P.

Francesco P. has extensive work experience in the field of artificial intelligence and data science. Francesco is currently serving as the PhD - Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer at Laya and Wisee Srl Società Benefit since August 2021. Prior to this, Francesco held the role of PhD - Chief Scientist and Data Scientist at Namu Srl from August 2017 to July 2021. Francesco also worked as a Freelancer Consultant - Research from August 2016 to July 2017, where they provided consultancy services as a PhD consultant. Francesco'sprevious experience includes serving as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Università degli Studi di Bergamo from August 2015 to July 2016, and as a PhD Research Consultant at Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) from January 2015 to May 2015. Francesco also held various research positions at Università degli Studi di Bergamo, including Postdoctoral Research Fellow from October 2013 to September 2014 and PhD Research Consultant from May 2013 to September 2013. Francesco started their research career as a Researcher PhD Student at Università degli Studi di Bergamo from August 2011 to February 2013, during which they also served as a Research Consultant from November 2012 to December 2012. Francesco gained international research experience as a Visiting PhD Researcher at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) from September 2010 to August 2011. Francesco began their academic journey as a PhD Student at Università degli Studi di Bergamo from October 2009 to September 2010.

Francesco P. began their education in 2005 at Politecnico di Milano, where they obtained a Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering in an unknown year. Francesco then pursued further education at Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca and completed a Master's degree in Finance before 2007.

In 2009, Francesco enrolled in Università degli Studi di Bergamo (UniBG) and École polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) to pursue a Ph.D. in Statistics, which they completed in 2013.

During their educational journey, Francesco also attended various summer schools to enhance their knowledge in specific areas. In 2010, they participated in the AIRO Summer School, focusing on Non-linear Optimization and Combinatorial Optimization. In 2012, they attended the Centro Interuniversitario di Econometria Summer School, acquiring expertise in Bayesian Methods in Economics and Finance. Additionally, the same year, Francesco participated in the IX International Summer School on Risk Measurement and Control, expanding their knowledge in Finance, Econometrics, Risk Management, and Control.
