Jose Lugo

Jose Lugo has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Jose started their career at Microsoft Corporation in 1987, where they served as a Group Test Manager for the Windows Server Systems family of products. During their time at Microsoft, Jose managed remote organizations in international subsidiaries, established mission and strategies, and managed large budgets for a team of over 400 employees.

In 2005, Jose co-founded AguaYVida, a company focused on reforestation, clean water, and waste to energy solutions in Mexico. As the COO and Co-Founder, they designed a portable water purification system for small remote communities.

In 2009, Jose joined WISErg Corporation as the COO and Co-Founder. WISErg is a hybrid technology company that converts food scraps into organic liquid fertilizer. Jose oversees company operations, leads R&D efforts, and coordinates the manufacturing and deployment of WISErg technology components. Jose later took on several roles, including Director of Sales and Co-Founder, and Director of International Business Development.

Currently, Jose holds the position of Global Sales Director at WISErg Corporation. Their work experience reflects their expertise in sales, business development, and operations management.

Jose Lugo attended the University of Michigan in 1979, though it is unknown whether they obtained a degree or pursued a field of study during this time. From 1980 to 1986, they studied at Eastern Michigan University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Information Systems.
