Amin Azad

Amin Azad has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Amin is currently working as a Senior Data Scientist at Wisetack since June 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Data Scientist at DV Trading LLC from April 2021 to May 2022.

Before transitioning to the data science field, Amin had experience in entrepreneurship. Amin co-founded Ride & Drift, a start-up that aimed to provide electric scooter and motorcycle sharing services in India from January 2018 to May 2019. Amin was responsible for various aspects of the business, including identifying customer pain points, defining the product vision, conducting market analysis, and pitching the idea to potential investors.

Amin also co-founded JUSS Meyve Suyu, a fresh squeezed juicing factory in Northern Cyprus, from August 2015 to September 2018. Additionally, they worked at LINK MIDDLE EAST LIMITED as a Vice President Automotive from June 2015 to June 2017, where they played a key role in launching a new subsidiary and developing a 3-5 year business plan for Nissan & Infiniti in Iran. Amin also served as the National Sales Director at the same company from January 2013 to May 2015, leading efforts to reorganize the team structure and implementing changes to the distribution strategy. Before that, Amin worked as a Sales Coordinator, where they contributed to optimizing operational processes and managing inventory.

Amin began their professional journey as a Sales Intern at HADA General Trading LLC from May 2010 to September 2010.

Amin Azad completed their Bachelor's Degree in Finance, General at the American University in Dubai from 2011 to 2015. Amin then pursued a Master of Arts (MA) in Applied Economics at UCLA from 2015 to 2018. In 2015, Amin also obtained a Certificate in International Business/Trade/Commerce from UCLA, and in 2017, they earned a Certificate in Project Management from the same institution. In terms of additional certifications, Amin obtained the Certified International Trade Professional (CITP) certification from UCLA in December 2016 and the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification in September 2017 from the University of California, Los Angeles. In 2020, they studied Data Science, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence at BloomTech, but no degree was specified for this program.
