Christian Howard

Christian Howard has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Senior Software Engineer at Wisetack since 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineer II at Compass from 2021 to 2022, where they developed and maintained an internal map API using React, TypeScript, and Node. Christian also led the on-call rotation and earned second place in the internal hackathon for their project "Snap to Streets." Before Compass, Christian worked at Blue Raster as an Application Developer II, where they developed applications using TypeScript, React, Redux, and the ArcGIS API for Javascript. Christian was also a member of the internal Developer Leadership Team. Christian's earlier experience includes roles as an Associate Application Developer at Blue Raster, a Data and Communications Systems Intern at the American Association for the Advancement of Science, and positions at the National Association of Clean Water Agencies and The George Washington University. Christian holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government.

Christian Howard has a strong educational background. Christian began their academic journey at Centennial High School from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained an Honors Diploma. Christian then continued their studies at The George Washington University from 2008 to 2012, earning a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Environmental Studies. Christian later pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Information Systems Technology from The George Washington University, which they successfully completed from 2015 to 2017.
