Edward Ramsden has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Edward is currently working as a Product Marketing Manager at Wisetack since June 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Product Marketing Manager, specifically in payments, at Clio - Cloud-Based Legal Technology from August 2021 to May 2022.
Before joining Clio, Edward held the role of Product Marketing (Fintech) at Jobber from February 2018 to August 2021. In this role, they were responsible for developing marketing positioning and messaging for fintech-related features, working closely with the Director of Fintech and Senior Product Manager to develop strategic and operational plans, and leading the go-to-market strategy for Jobber's fintech features.
Earlier in their career, Edward was the Owner/Operator of Enviro Masters Lawn Care from February 2010 to February 2019. Edward also served as Chair - Youth for D5370 at Rotary International from August 2014 to August 2016, where they developed and implemented strategies to engage youth in Rotary International District 5370, managed programs for 1,600 youth, and represented Rotary International at international conferences and local club events.
In addition, Edward worked as a Project Coordinator at Xennex from September 2014 to May 2015. In this role, they collaborated with client teams and stakeholders to deliver strategic planning sessions with measurable impact on clients' business operations, managed client relations in a fast-paced environment, and ensured proper project management across various client portfolios.
Edward Ramsden earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Science from the University of Alberta. Edward attended the university from 2007 to 2012. Later, from 2017 to 2019, they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Entrepreneurial Management from Royal Roads University.
In addition to their degrees, Edward Ramsden has obtained multiple certifications. In November 2020, they completed a certification in Leading Strategic Planning from the University of Alberta. In December 2017, they obtained certifications in Managing an Agile Team, Running Product Design Sprints, and Agile Meets Design Thinking from the University of Virginia. In January 2017, they acquired certifications in Agile Planning for Software Products, Client Needs and Software Requirements, Software Product Management Capstone, and Software Product Management Specialization from the University of Alberta. Furthermore, in December 2016, they completed certifications in Introduction to Software Product Management, Reviews & Metrics for Software Improvements, and Software Processes and Agile Practices from the University of Virginia.
