Grant Cheng

Grant Cheng is currently a Simulation Software Intern at Wisk and serves as a Research Assistant at Cross Labs, where Grant is comparing the performance of multiple large language models and assisting in translating cocktail recipes into machine code. Previous experience includes roles as an Undergraduate Researcher at UC San Diego Jacobs School of Engineering, focusing on web applications related to Covid-19, and as a Web Developer and Instructor at the Applied Computing Foundation. Additional experience includes work as a Web3 Developer at PhantaSpace, mentoring in the Summer Program for Incoming Students at UC San Diego, and various intern positions that involved programming and web development. Grant is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at UC San Diego, expected to graduate in June 2025.
