Jonathan Lovegren is an experienced aerospace professional with a strong background in flight software and autonomy. Currently serving as the Head of Autonomy & Airspace Integration at Wisk since May 2021, Jonathan previously held the position of Flight Software and Simulation Lead at A³ by Airbus, where leadership involved critical software delivery for the Vahana eVTOL demonstrator. As a founding member of Airware, Jonathan contributed to the growth of the company and led the design of safety-critical flight software for UAVs. Prior experience includes roles at Boeing as a Flight Controls and Flight Test Engineer, supporting the A160T Hummingbird’s development, and as a Conceptual Design Intern at Lockheed Martin. Jonathan holds a Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
