Erin Dawson

Director of Operations at Wit Digital

Erin Dawson has worked in various roles since 2005. Erin started their career as a Bartender at The Brickskeller, where they developed their people skills and an extensive knowledge of craft beers and the brewing process. In 2009, they moved to ChurchKey as a Bartender and then in 2011, they became the Head Bartender at Bier Baron Tavern, where they consistently performed at a high level in a fast-paced, customer service environment. In 2017, Erin became a Web Development Fellow at the Democratic Attorneys General Association, where they worked primarily in Wordpress to build and maintain sites for DAGA-affiliated candidates and campaigns. That same year, they also enrolled in a 12-week fully immersive program at General Assembly, where they learned to become a Full Stack Developer. In 2018, they were appointed Lead Web Developer at Brand Iron, and in 2020, they became the Director of Operations, Project Manager, and Support Developer at Wit Digital.

Erin Dawson has an education history that includes a Bachelor's Degree in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland, which they obtained between 2005 and 2009. In 2017, they attended General Assembly for the Web Development Immersive program. Erin has also completed various courses through CodeAcademy and Lynda.com, including Learning Shopify, Learning Redux, Programming Foundations: Fundamentals, WordPress Ecommerce: WooCommerce, WordPress Essential Training, Google Analytics for Beginners, and CS50 through HarvardX.
