Ivan Cheong

Ivan Cheong is currently an Equity Partner and Head of the Singapore Family team at Withersworldwide. Ivan specializes in Divorce & Family Law and handles various cases related to family and divorce law, including divorce proceedings, custody disputes, interlocutory applications, injunctions, maintenance, and family violence. Ivan also provides advice on and prepares Pre-nuptial and Postnuptial agreements. Prior to joining Withersworldwide, Ivan was a Partner at Harry Elias Partnership LLP from April 2014 to January 2021, where they previously held roles as a Senior Associate and Legal Associate. Ivan began their legal career as an Associate at Lee & Lee in May 2008 before joining Harry Elias Partnership LLP.

Ivan Cheong completed their Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree in the field of Law at the National University of Singapore from 2003 to 2007. In addition to their formal education, they obtained a Certificate of Completion for Basic Parenting Coordinator Training Programme from the Family Justice Courts of Singapore & The Law Society of Singapore in September 2017. Furthermore, they received a Certificate of Appointment from the Singapore Mediation Centre in April 2016.
