Lotta Nevalainen, M.S. has a diverse work experience, beginning with their role as a National Team Member for the Finnish Swimming Association in 2008. In 2016, they worked as a Communication Intern for NC State Athletics Communication, where they tracked statistical research for sports-related articles, coordinated media interviews and press conferences, and managed sport-specific social media accounts. In 2017, they worked as a Marketing Intern for SwimSwam, where they managed and created content for social media accounts, maintained the company websites, and worked on assigned marketing and/or social media projects. In 2018, they worked as a Communication Manager and Digital Marketing Intern for B-Hive Europe, where they created content on various communication platforms, developed and implemented marketing campaigns, and increased the website's unique visitors, visits, and page views by 19%. Lotta also worked as a Game Day Marketing Intern for NC State Athletics Marketing. In 2019, they worked as a Teacher's Assistant for Texas Christian University, where they assisted and led Advertising, Channel Planning & New Media classes, acted as a liaison between the students and the professor, and conducted research to create lecture materials. In 2020, they worked as a Digital Marketing Intern for Zvook.co, where they planned, managed, and executed paid search and paid social campaigns, wrote paid search and social copy, and provided weekly performance reports. Lotta Nevalainen, M.S. has an extensive educational background. Lotta began their studies at Imatra High School from 2010 to 2013. Lotta then attended North Carolina State University from 2013 to 2018, where they earned two Bachelor of Arts degrees, one in Communication and Media Studies and the other in Global Relations. In 2017, they also attended Monash University and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and Media Studies. After that, they attended Texas Christian University from 2019 to 2021, where they earned a Master of Science in Strategic Communication with MBA coursework. Lotta is currently attending Monroe College, where they are pursuing a Master of Business Administration in Marketing/Marketing Management, General.
