Geoffrey Smith

Geoffrey Smith, Ph.D., serves as the Data Science Manager at Within3, where the focus is on enhancing virtual engagement platforms for life sciences companies. With previous experience as a Data Scientist at rMark Bio, Inc., Geoffrey's background includes significant academic contributions as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Notre Dame, leading a multi-institution team on new physics models through data analysis. Geoffrey's expertise in machine learning was demonstrated during a graduate research project at The Ohio State University, which improved analysis sensitivity for high-energy physics research. Holding a Ph.D. in Physics from The Ohio State University and a BS in Physics with a minor in Math from the University of Connecticut, Geoffrey combines extensive analytical skills with a strong foundation in scientific research and education.
