Benoît Tucoulat has extensive experience in mechanical engineering and team leadership. Benoît started their career at Dumez IDF in 2010 as a Manoeuvre. Benoît then worked as a Lean Manufacturing Engineer at Vesuvius in 2011. In 2012, they joined Beyond the Sea by Yves Parlier as a Business Development Engineer, where they played a key role in defining the company's business model and strategic planning. Benoît also worked at Snecma as a Project Engineer, designing bearings and seals for aircraft engines.

Benoît's experience in the consumer electronics industry includes working at Withings multiple times. Benoît initially joined as a Mechanical Engineer in 2013, where they designed and industrialized smartwatches. Benoît later became a Mechanical team leader, managing a team of six engineers and launching multiple products. Benoît then moved to Nokia, where they continued as a Mechanical team leader, managing a team of nine engineers and launching five products. At Nokia, they also upgraded lab prototyping and testing capabilities and improved the product validation process. Benoît returned to Withings in 2018 as the Head of Mechanics & Applied Science, responsible for leading the mechanical team.

Benoît Tucoulat obtained a Master's degree in civil engineering from Mines Paris between 2009 and 2012. Prior to that, they attended Lycée Stanislas from 2007 to 2009. Benoît completed their Baccalauréat S at Lycée Francais Jean Monnet - Brussels in 2006. In the same year, they briefly studied at Marian College of Dublin. Benoît Tucoulat started their education at Lycée Français Jean Mermoz - Buenos Aires - Argentina from 2002 to 2006.
