Vishal Joshi

Vishal Joshi is the CEO and co-founder of Joy, a Seattle-based software company. Vishal was previously a Product Manager at Microsoft, responsible for products like Azure, Visual Studio, and ASP.NET.

Joshi has over 15 years of experience in the tech industry, starting their career as a Solutions Architect at Compuware Corporation. Vishal later became a Technology Architect at West Bend Mutual Insurance before joining Microsoft in 2005.

At Microsoft, Joshi led the team that built the user experience for Azure, as well as the API surface area which unifies all of the Azure services. Their team also built cloud PaaS services like Azure websites. In addition to Azure, Joshi also led different Microsoft Web Platform technologies like Visual Studio, ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, WebMatrix, Razor, and Web PI.

Joshi has spoken at dozens of conferences on web and cloud technologies, including keynotes at several Microsoft events within the US and internationally, such as TechEd, PDC, CodeCamps, DevDays, //Build, etc.

Vishal Joshi completed their Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical at the National Institute of Technology Rourkela.
