Solutions Engineer & product owner Smart Substation at Withthegrid

Filip Forro began their work experience in 2014 as an Application Tester for KFB Control Ltd. Filip then joined Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) in 2016 as a Teaching Assistant, where they assisted in various courses and worked on their Bachelor Thesis. In 2019, Filip worked as a System Architect for Team CASA, designing and implementing a smart hybrid AC/DC grid. Filip also worked as an Asset Management Intern at Stedin, researching congestion management for distributed PV generation. Filip later completed their Master's Thesis Project at Stedin, focusing on a bilevel chance-constrained optimization approach to congestion management. Filip is currently working as a Solutions Engineer and Product Owner at Withthegrid, developing the Withthegrid Teleport Gateway for remote monitoring and control of energy assets.

Filip Forro completed their Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology from 2015 to 2019. Filip then pursued a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology from 2019 to 2021. During their master's program, they also took courses at Delft University of Technology in the field of Sustainable Energy Technology from 2020 to 2021. Additionally, Filip obtained several certifications including "EnerTran2x: The Transition to the Decarbonised Economy of Tomorrow" from edX in August 2020, "IEPG2x: Smart Grids: Modeling" from edX in May 2020, "Raspberry Pi Full Stack Raspbian" from Udemy in May 2020, "Smart Grids Integration and Modeling" from edX in May 2020, and "IEPG1x: Smart Grids: The Basics" from edX in March 2020.
