William C. McMahon is a Ph.D. Research Fellow at Wits VIDA Research Unit with extensive experience as a Medical Laboratory Scientist at Mediclinic. William C. established Africa’s first IVD facility for malignant hyperthermia and conducted monthly IVCTs. At CapeBio Technologies, William C. was a Technical Field Scientist involved in Covid-19 diagnostic product development. With a background in Vaccinology and Medical Virology, William has a strong foundation in microbiology research and laboratory management.
