Kevin Bouaou, PhD has a diverse work experience that spans several companies and industries. Kevin currently serves as the Chief Scientific Officer at WITSEE, where they have been since September 2022. Previously at WITSEE, they held the role of Lead R&D from September 2021 to September 2022.

Prior to joining WITSEE, Kevin worked at Ad Scientiam as a Data Scientist from March 2021 to September 2021, and as a Data Manager - Data Scientist from March 2020 to September 2021.

Kevin also has experience in academia, having worked at Sorbonne Université as a PhD in Biomedical Imaging from October 2016 to February 2020. During this time, they focused on the integration of fluid mechanics in the study of blood flow in the aorta and heart using 4D flow images.

Before their PhD, they worked at INSERM - Laboratoire d'Imagerie Fonctionnelle as a Research Engineer from September 2015 to September 2016, where they developed methods to preprocess and display 4D flow MRI images. Kevin also did an internship at the same institution as an Engineer Intern, where they quantified myocardial blood flow using MRI images.

Additionally, Kevin had an internship at CEA - Commissariat à l'énergie atomique et aux énergies alternatives, where they evaluated the ability to quantify a tomography machine for small animals.

Lastly, Kevin gained some early work experience at Manutan Group as a seasonal employee in 2012.

Overall, Kevin Bouaou, PhD has demonstrated expertise in scientific research, data analysis, and development of imaging software solutions.

Kevin Bouaou, PhD pursued their undergraduate education at Grenoble INP - UGA from 2012 to 2015. Kevin attained a degree in Biomedical Engineering during this time. In 2014 to 2015, Kevin proceeded to Technische Universiteit Eindhoven to obtain a Master of Engineering (MEng) in the field of Biomedical/Medical Engineering. Continuing their academic journey, they joined Sorbonne Université in 2016 and completed their Doctorat in the area of Biomedical/Medical Engineering in 2020.
