In 1999 Tim was appointed as Chief Executive Officer of the Welsh Automotive Forum (WAF), to represent the interests of the automotive (manufacturing) sector in Wales, to network the supply chain, create business opportunities and provide Government with industry specific data and analysis. In October 2020, Tim retired as CEO, but remains a Director of WAF. In January 2022 Tim was awarded an MBE for services to the automotive industry.
