Nateida Lathon

Nateida Lathon is the Compliance Manager at Witt O’Brien’s. Nateida has over ten years of experience in auditing and compliance.

Nateida began their career as an auditor with Lone Star College in October 2016. In this role, they were responsible for performing internal audit projects, assisting the Executive Director in performing a comprehensive annual risk assessment, and overseeing the activities of other auditors. Nateida also performed special projects as necessary, including investigations of complaints/allegations analyzing confidential and sensitive information.

In October 2017, Nateida transitioned to their current role as Compliance Manager at Witt O’Brien’s. In this role, they are responsible for ensuring that the company complies with all applicable laws and regulations. Nateida also develops and implements compliance programs, provides training on compliance-related topics, and conducts audits to assess compliance risks.

Nateida Lathon has a MBA in Business from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University, as well as a BA in Accounting and Minor in Business Administration from Clarke College. Nateida also has certification from The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc. in Certification in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA) and Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).

Nateida Lathon reports to Cheryl Joiner, Director of Contracts & Compliance.
