Ryan Deroos Blum

Ryan DeRoos Blum has a diverse work experience ranging from set design at Club Med in 2004 to being a Technical Coordinator at The Fabulous Palm Springs Follies from 2005 to 2008. Ryan then served as a Resident Designer at The Playhouse San Antonio from 2009 to 2016 before moving on to roles at the Witte Museum, where they were Special Event Manager from 2017 to 2023, then promoted to Director of Sales and Events in February 2023.

Ryan DeRoos Blum earned a BFA in Technical and Design Theatre and a BAJMC in TV Radio Broadcasting from Drake University in 1999-2003. Later, in 2009-2011, Ryan received a Continuing Education Certificate in Art Gallery and Museum Studies from the University of California Hayward.
