David Vaks

David Vaks is an experienced professional in software engineering and project management, currently serving as an R&D Group Manager and Engineering Team Lead at Wix.com since June 2017. In this role, David leads teams focused on the Wix Inbox, a critical component of Wix's CRM solution, facilitating communication for small and medium businesses. Prior to this, David worked as a Backend Engineer, enhancing the server infrastructure for the Wix Chat platform. David's earlier experience includes leadership roles in the Israeli Air Force, where project management and collaboration with diverse technical teams were key responsibilities. David holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev and a Master of Business Administration with a focus on Entrepreneurship from Tel Aviv University.
