Onyinye Edyson

Onyinye Edyson has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. In 2016, they interned at the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) as a Genetics Resources Centre (GRC) Intern. Following that, from 2017 to 2018, they worked as an Inside Sales Account Representative at Seaman Ventures.

In 2020, they joined Pixels and Bytes Nigeria as a Customer Service Executive, where they interacted with customers and curated content for the brand's social media platforms. Onyinye held this position until June 2022.

Simultaneously, in 2021, Onyinye also started working as a Project Assistant and later as a User Interface Designer at Africa Film Academy until November 2021. Onyinye then joined AdvoKC as a Project Manager in the same year.

From May 2022 to October 2022, they worked at Get Tailored as a Product Design Intern, contributing to the design of their e-commerce website and mobile app features.

Finally, starting in June 2023, they joined WIZ.AI as an AI Conversation Designer.

Onyinye Edyson earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Botany from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, where they studied from 2013 to 2017. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications. These include "Designing Conversations with Voiceflow & CDI" from the Conversation Design Institute, completed in June 2023. Onyinye also completed "Human-Centered Design: an Introduction" from Coursera in September 2022, "Ingressive for Good- Introduction to User Interface Design" from Geneza School of Design in May 2022, and "Product Design" from Tech4Dev in January 2022. Prior to these certifications, they obtained "Customer Service Foundations" from LinkedIn Learning in September 2020 and "Content Marketing: Grow your business with content marketing" from Udemy in August 2020. Onyinye also completed "Workforce Collaboration and Development" from YALI Regional Leadership Center East Africa in June 2020, "Management Strategies For people And Resources" from YALI Regional Leadership Center East Africa in April 2019, and "Project Management Principles" from ENVIROFLY CONSULTING (UK) LIMITED in April 2018.
