Chris Cao

Chris Cao's work experience begins in 2001 as a Game Designer at VR1, where they worked until 2002. Chris then joined Sony Online Entertainment in 2003, starting as a Lead Designer and later becoming the Studio Creative Director. Chris held this position until 2011 when they became the Executive Creative Director/Game Director. In 2011, Cao moved to Zynga where they served as an Executive Producer until 2012. From 2012 to 2016, they worked at Direwolf Digital as an Executive Producer. Finally, in 2016, they joined Wizards of the Coast, initially as the Executive Producer for Digital Game Development and eventually becoming the Vice President of Digital Game Development in 2021.

Chris Cao obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Communications from Loma Linda University, which they attended from 1990 to 1994. Following this, they pursued a Professional Clear Credential in General Sciences at La Sierra University, where they studied between 1995 and 1996.
