Meris Mullaley is an experienced professional in narrative design and education outreach. Currently serving as the Senior Worldbuilding & Narrative Designer and Worldbuilding & Narrative Design Manager at Wizards of the Coast since May 2018, Meris oversees a team responsible for developing intellectual property and creative content for Magic: The Gathering. Previously, Meris worked as a Creative Producer for the game, managing the worldbuilding and art pipeline. Earlier roles include Research & Education Outreach Event Manager at the University of Washington, Gallery Programs Coordinator at the Museum of History & Industry, and Production Coordinator at Dammit Liz Productions. With a background in archaeology, Meris conducted historical research for ICF International and served as a Graduate Assistant at Portland State University. Meris holds a Master's degree in Anthropology and Archaeology from Portland State University and a Certificate in Museum Studies from the University of Washington, along with a Bachelor's degree in Classics from Scripps College.
