Abraham Alcántara

Abraham Alcántara is a seasoned data engineer with extensive experience in developing cloud and on-prem solutions for data processing. Currently serving as a Staff Data Engineer at Wizeline since March 2018, Abraham specializes in creating robust data pipelines handling Terabytes and Petabytes of data. Prior roles include Software Engineer at Ooyala, where Abraham contributed to real-time analytics for online video streaming using big data technologies and machine learning. Earlier, at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Abraham focused on prototype development for big-data applications and super-computing. Previous experience also includes software development at Spribo and database federation at CCADET-UNAM. Abraham completed all credits towards a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Mathematics, specializing in Pure Mathematics from Instituto Politécnico Nacional.
