Juan Jesus Prieto Tapia

Juan Jesus Prieto Tapia has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Juan Jesus started their career at Indeman S.L. in 1999 as an Industrial Engineer, where they created the IT area and developed computing systems-related services and products. In 2001, they joined ENEO Tecnología S.C. as a System Engineer and Developer, where they worked on creating prototypes and securing financial partners.

In 2003, they transitioned to ENEO Tecnología as a System Engineer and Senior Developer, taking on responsibilities such as developing security and network monitoring products, integrating client systems, and providing support for major accounts. During this time, they played a significant role in developing and marketing various products.

From 2012 to 2018, Juan worked at redBorder as a Support and QA Manager and eventually as a DevOps Team Leader. Here, they managed the company's internal infrastructure, security solutions, network architecture, and policies. Juan Jesus also led the DevOps team, focusing on developing and deploying projects using top technologies and tools.

Juan then joined Abalia in 2018 as a Solutions Architect and Product Manager. Juan Jesus worked on the deployment of Kubernetes clusters, design and implementation of demonstrators, and controlled the entire solution pipeline. The product they worked on was WDP, a real-time event processing platform for data analysis. Juan Jesus utilized DevOps practices, tools, and the SCRUM framework.

Next, they moved to Teldat in 2020 as a Cloud and BigData Architect. Juan Jesus'sresponsibilities included working on IaC terraform over GCP and on-premise, as well as utilizing technologies such as Kafka, KSQL, Spark, and Kubernetes. Juan Jesus led the cloud team and utilized Atlassian tools for project management.

Currently, Juan is working at Wizzie as a Product Manager and Cloud and Infrastructure Architect for the WDP platform. Juan Jesus is responsible for managing and overseeing the product and its architecture, using technologies such as Apache Kafka, Druid, Terraform, Grafana, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Juan Jesus Prieto Tapia holds a degree in Electrical Engineering (specializing in Systems and Automation) from the Universidad de Sevilla.
