Erin Downs is a skilled digital sales coordinator at WJBF NewsChannel 6 since August 2021. Previously, Erin has held positions as a lead front end engineer at Link Dyscovery, where research and development focused on improving accessibility for individuals with learning disabilities. As a lead front end developer at The Date Night Planner, Erin created an engaging web app featuring dinner, drink, and movie options. Erin's experience in graphic design includes working with Morris Media Network and Kat McCall Papers, where graphic content production, collaboration with clients, and adherence to design standards were key responsibilities. Erin also completed an internship at the Gertrude Herbert Institute of Art and has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Augusta University. Proficiency in HTML, Javascript, and CSS, among other technologies, highlights Erin's technical capabilities.

WJBF NewsChannel 6 signed on in Augusta, Georgia as an ABC affiliate in November 1953 and is owned by Nexstar Media Group. WJBF–TV has been awarded the prestigious "Station of Year" award by the Georgia Association of Broadcasters in 1994, 1995, 1996, 2000, and 2003. This prestigious award recognizes WJBF for excellence in broadcasting and service to the community. Our Mission Statement: To envision our responsibilities to the community and act. WJBF NewsChannel 6 is committed to keeping the CSRA informed. We are the only station in Augusta with full–time capital reporters in Atlanta, GA and Columbia, SC, three meteorologists, the area's only LIVE Doppler Radar, and the largest news staff in the CSRA.
