Rex Main is an accomplished marketing and video producer with extensive experience in the broadcast industry, currently serving as a Marketing Producer at WJBF News Channel 6 since January 2018 and as a Video Producer at MVP (Main Video Productions) since June 2017. Prior roles include Creative Services Director at KETK NBC & FOX51 News, where promotional goals and branding strategies were developed for multiple television stations and digital platforms. Rex has a proven track record in event planning, budget management, media buying, and content creation across various platforms. Additional experience encompasses roles at KREX-TV News Channel 5 and WRDW News 12, focusing on promotional production, community engagement, and technical direction. Rex holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Augusta University.

WJBF NewsChannel 6 signed on in Augusta, Georgia as an ABC affiliate in November 1953 and is owned by Nexstar Media Group. WJBF–TV has been awarded the prestigious "Station of Year" award by the Georgia Association of Broadcasters in 1994, 1995, 1996, 2000, and 2003. This prestigious award recognizes WJBF for excellence in broadcasting and service to the community. Our Mission Statement: To envision our responsibilities to the community and act. To anticipate our viewers and client's needs and respond. To inspire and promote positive values by giving more to the community we serve. Our number one goal is to live up to this statement. WJBF NewsChannel 6 is committed to keeping the CSRA informed. We are the only station in Augusta with full–time capital reporters in Atlanta, GA and Columbia, SC, three meteorologists, the area's only LIVE Doppler Radar, and the largest news staff in the CSRA.
