Paula Corfield MCIPS (CS) is an accomplished procurement professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as Head of Procurement at WJEC / CBAC since August 2025, Paula previously held positions such as Senior Procurement Manager at Monmouthshire Building Society and Procurement Manager at Faithful+Gould. With a solid foundation in procurement processes and contract law, Paula has effectively led teams and managed projects at organizations like Valleys to Coast, Turner & Townsend, and Gwent Police, where significant contributions included driving cost savings and enhancing procurement efficiency. Paula's career began at ELWA as a Procurement Assistant and earlier at Nippon Electric Glass as a Buyer, establishing a strong grasp of EU procurement processes and supplier management. Paula's educational background includes professional development from the University of South Wales.
