Troy Taylor

Troy Taylor is an experienced media professional with a background in production and sports reporting. Currently serving as a Producer at WJW-TV since June 2022, Troy previously worked as a Sports Reporter at WMFD-TV from August 2014 to November 2020, where responsibilities included recording game statistics, editing highlight videos, and on-air reporting. Troy's experience also encompasses roles as a Brand Ambassador for CID Entertainment and Extreme Marketing & Promotions, operating VIP events and promotional activities during concerts and Cleveland Cavaliers games, respectively. Prior to these positions, Troy founded Troy Taylor Videography, focusing on wedding videography, and served as a Producer for ZTV Sports Report, managing show rundowns and directorial responsibilities. Troy's technical skills and hands-on experience were further developed through various roles, including summer maintenance at Globe Metallurgical and equipment operation in earlier positions. Troy holds a degree in Mass Media Production from The University of Akron.
