Tim Champkins

Tim Champkins has extensive work experience in various finance roles. Tim started their career as an Undergraduate Engineer at Rolls-Royce, where they worked on defense projects. Tim then moved on to work as a Chartered Accountant at Davison and Shingleton, specializing in advising entrepreneurial enterprises. Tim joined Symbian and took on roles such as Financial Controller and Senior Management Accountant, where they managed financial operations and integration after the company was acquired by Nokia. Tim later joined Nokia as Head of Finance and Control for Symbian Technology. Tim also worked at Accenture as a Client Finance Manager, integrating finance activities for the Symbian R&D unit. Tim then joined eCommera as Group Financial Controller, leading operational finance activities. Tim's most recent position was at Isobar, where they served as CFO. Tim is currently working at W K Webster and Co Ltd as their CFO. Overall, Tim has a strong background in financial management and extensive experience in the technology industry.

Tim Champkins attended the University of Bristol from 1997 to 2001, where they obtained a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering. During their time at the University, Tim achieved a 2:1 degree classification in Aeronautical Engineering. Additionally, they obtained a certification as a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (FCA) from the ICAEW, although the specific date of completion is unknown.
