Dave Mann

Dave Mann has over 20 years of experience in the broadcast technology industry. Dave is currently serving as the Director of Broadcast Technology at WKAR at Michigan State University. Previously, they held the position of Chief Station Engineer at The E.W. Scripps Company for nine years. Prior to that, they worked as a Field Service Technician at United Visual, Inc., where they installed, tested, and serviced audiovisual systems. Dave also has experience as a Village Trustee and as an Audio/Video Integrator & Installer. Dave has a strong background in production, as they have served as Director of Production at Northeast Sports Network and as a Director, Producer, and Broadcast Operator at Weigel Broadcasting. Additionally, they have held various roles at NBC Universal, Paxson Communications (ION Media Networks), and WWMT-TV News Channel 3, where they gained experience in broadcast engineering, production, and master control operations.

Dave Mann attended Portage Northern High School from 1984 to 1986 and Springer High School from 1982 to 1984. Dave then pursued Radio and Television Broadcasting Technology/Technician at Western Michigan University, although the specific start and end years are unknown.
