Eric Tervol

Eric Tervols has extensive experience in television production and technical roles, currently serving as a Telecomm Technician at WKAR at Michigan State University since June 2019. Prior positions include Video Maintenance Specialist at Lansing Community College, where responsibilities involved maintaining video displays and designing AV systems. Eric's earlier experience includes roles as a Quality Assurance Technician at Lindberg/MPH, Contract Assembler at Edgewater Automation, and Engineering Apprentice at LeSEA Broadcasting. Additionally, Eric has a strong background in broadcast technology, having worked as a Freelance Broadcast Technician for over 19 years in multiple capacities, including camera operator and video engineer, contributing to numerous live sporting events. Eric also possesses a solid foundation in engineering and technical support gained during a decade at Whirlpool Corporation and contract engineering roles with BAE Systems. Eric holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology from Purdue University and a certificate in Television Production from Specs Howard School of Broadcast Arts.
