Richard Wellington

Richard Wellington is an accomplished video editor and studio technician with a strong background in media production. Currently employed at MessageMakers since October 2018, Richard conceptualizes, storyboards, and edits corporate videos, applying advanced editing skills, motion graphics, audio mixing, and color correction techniques. Additionally, Richard has been a studio technician at WKAR at Michigan State University since February 2017, where responsibilities include equipment setup and maintenance, camera operation, and content creation. As a live events coordinator for Spartan Vision Sports Broadcasting since August 2016, Richard produces video board content for major college sports and contributes as an assistant editor. Richard also gained valuable experience as a video operations intern at the Big Ten Network in mid-2018, training on professional broadcast equipment and shadowing various production areas. Richard holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication and Media Studies from Michigan State University, completed in 2018.
