Kristen Mirand

Kristen Mirand is a multimedia journalist with extensive experience in various media roles, currently serving at WKBW-TV since September 2022. Prior to this, Kristen worked at WSET-TV for two years as a multimedia journalist and interned at NBC News and ABC News, gaining hands-on experience in story preparation and news production. Kristen has also contributed as a bridge street intern at NewsChannel 9 WSYR and held several positions at Ithaca College Television, including producer and news anchor. Kristen's background includes significant writing experience for Ithaca College publications and The Tab, as well as leadership as Chief of Staff for the Ithaca College Student Governance Council. Kristen earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Ithaca College in 2020.
