Julene Areitio

Julene Areitio is an experienced legal professional specializing in M&A law, currently serving as a member of WLW | Women in a Legal World since July 2023. As an associate professor at Esade since September 2022, Julene combines academic insight with practical experience gained from an extensive career at Cuatrecasas, where M&A legal expertise has been honed since June 2015. Previously, Julene completed an internship at Cuatrecasas and pursued advanced education in law, earning a Master's degree from Universidad Complutense de Madrid and a Bachelor's degree from Tilburg University, complemented by studies at the University of Deusto and a postgraduate degree from The London School of Economics and Political Science in corporate finance.
