Luwen Zhang has worked in the automotive industry since 2007. Luwen began their career as a Suspension Engineer at Byd Company Limited, where they led the suspension team responsible for the shock absorber design of 6 models, performance and fatigue validation, problem solving and after-sales support. Luwen also investigated and improved lip structure and grease of seal, surface roughness of piston rod and so on, reducing the ratio of noise and oil leakage for several models shock absorber. From 2012 to 2015, Luwen worked as a Product Engineer at BWI GROUP, where they cooperated with EURO R&D, finished technical review and BOM updates, supported performance and fatigue validation, and completed Qoros3, LandRover Evoque, and FOTON G11 localization. Luwen also acted as a PM, creating prototype building plans, material requirements, and managing the deliveries transportation import and export Free Trade Zone. From 2015 to 2018, Luwen worked as a Chief Quality Engineer at BAIC Ruili, where they conducted investigations of Beijing, Hangzhou, and Wuhu EV shares projects on site, integration tests of APP, T-BOX, BCM, and charging station, applied to the government for charging station and parking area, and realized commercial operations in 2 cities (Ruili and Dali city, with more than 200 EVs and 300 Charging stations). Luwen also worked out Quality Planning and Quality Objectives, provided gate-review deliverables, and conducted quality improvement as a model quality manager, resulting in a 95% decrease in quality issues. Currently, Luwen is an ADAS Quality Engineer at \u98de\u51e1\u6c7d\u8f66, a position they have held since 2022.
Luwen Zhang obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Automobile Service Engineering from Wuhan University of Technology between 2003 and 2007. In 2017, Luwen Zhang obtained a certification in Intro to Self-Driving Car from Udacity. In 2018, Luwen Zhang obtained a certification in Self-Driving Car Engineer from Udacity.
