Mike Wurst has had extensive work experience in various roles within the construction industry. Mike began their career at Watford Sand and Graval in 2001, working as a Civil Forman and Site Development Equipment Operator. In this role, they were responsible for ensuring projects were completed on time and within budget, while meeting clients' satisfaction.
From 2010 to 2015, Mike worked at JVIC, where they held the position of Quality Control Supervisor. Mike'sresponsibilities included preparing and submitting Quality Plans, as well as ensuring welding procedures and welder qualifications were in compliance with clients' specifications. Mike also oversaw material checking and storage compliance.
During their time at JVIC, Mike also served as a Project Superintendent, responsible for planning and executing piping systems in a designated area. Mike ensured the schedule reflected the planning and was achievable within the timeline. Additionally, Mike held the role of Project Manager from 2020 to 2021, overseeing projects and ensuring safety, quality, and production schedules were enforced.
Most recently, Mike joined Wm. T. Spaeder Company in 2021 as a Project Manager, where they continue to contribute their extensive knowledge and expertise in the construction industry.
Mike Wurst earned their High School Diploma from Union City High School in 2001. In 2010, they obtained a certification from the National Center For Construction Education and Research (NCCER). Additionally, in August 2012, they obtained another certification from AWS (American Welding Society) called CWI (Certified Welding Inspector).
