Tom Goin

When he joined U.S. Bolt in 1992, Tom brought 20 years of experience in the hot-forged, critical service bolting industry. He now has over 45 years of management experience in Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Sales and Marketing in this industry. He possesses expert knowledge of bolting for use in commercial nuclear and navy nuclear power generation, gas, steam and hydro-turbine power, aerospace, and all aspects of the Oil and Gas Exploration and Production Industry.

In addition to being founding chairman of API Specifications 20E and 20F, Tom is a member of many other API Product Committees, providing technical guidance on bolting issues. He has twice been elected President of the Association of Well Head Equipment Manufacturers (AWHEM), and he chaired a committee that created TR1001, Specification for Low Alloy Steel Bolting.
