Andrew Whitmyer is an accomplished broadcast meteorologist with extensive experience in severe weather coverage and weather reporting. Currently serving at WNDU-TV since September 2021, Andrew has contributed to the development of a new weather graphic package and has a strong command of various weather application software. Prior to this, Andrew worked at WDAY from May 2016 to September 2021, where recognition included an Emmy Award for exceptional weather reporting. Previous roles include an associate news producer at WNDU-TV, a director and meteorologist at Valparaiso University, and several internships in meteorology. Andrew holds a degree in Digital Media, Geography, and Meteorology from Valparaiso University.

WNDU-TV, Channel 16.1 and 16.2 is an NBC-affiliated television station located in South Bend, Indiana, Untied States. The station is owned by Gray Television Group, Inc. The station's studios also house production facilities for production of Station promos and client advertising.
