Kellie Castruita Specter is Chief Marketing and Engagement Officer for The WNET Group.

Specter currently oversees corporate communications, branding, digital marketing and audience and market research for The WNET Group and its three affiliates THIRTEEN/New York, WLIW21/Long Island and NJ PBS/New Jersey. In addition, she is responsible for audience engagement for The WNET Group productions for PBS including Great Performances, Nature, American Masters, PBS NewsHour Weekend and Amanpour and Company.

A California native, Specter joined The WNET Group in 1998 to lead corporate communications and local program publicity for the organization. With successive promotions, local and national audience engagement, digital marketing, research/analytics and branding were added to her responsibilities.

Specter began her career as a radio marketing and promotions professional and worked for Infinity, CBS and Metromedia Broadcasting.

She is currently an adjunct Professor at Fordham University, teaching Branding & Marketing in the Public Interest and represents The WNET Group on the Board of American Documentary, Inc.
