Michelle Kavanaugh

Michelle Kavanaugh, Ed.D., has extensive experience in educational leadership and STEM initiatives, notably serving as Emeritus at WNY STEM Hub since May 2020. Prior roles include Judge for the Education Team Excellence Recognition Program at ASQ, where Michelle evaluated entries for the National Quality Education Conference. As President of the WNY STEM Hub from 2013 to 2019, Kavanaugh significantly expanded membership and facilitated partnerships to enhance interdisciplinary learning. Contributions also extend to the Greater Rochester Quality Council as a Board Member and Education Sector Leader, and to various other educational and quality organizations. Michelle holds a Doctor of Education from the University at Buffalo and multiple advanced degrees from Buffalo State University, highlighting a strong foundation in educational administration and communication sciences.
