Justin Shumway

Justin Shumway is a seasoned videographer and editor, currently employed at WNYT NewsChannel 13 since November 2022. With a long-standing membership in IBEW Local 1212 since May 2014 and IATSE Local 100 since January 2014, Justin brings extensive experience in the media industry. Previous roles include Video Journalist at CBS6-WRGB from February 2022 to November 2022, and Journalist at RNN/FIOS1 from April 2015 to April 2019. Justin's freelance work spans various high-profile organizations, including CBS, TimeWarner/Spec, NCAA, WWE, UFC, and ESPN, from June 1999 to 2018. Further experience includes serving as a Senior Production Technician, Television Engineer, and Director at Cablevision from August 2001 to March 2013. Justin achieved a Bachelor of Arts degree in Radio, Television, and Digital Communication from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh.
