Dr.-Ing. Lars Herbeck has extensive work experience in the engineering and materials industry. Dr.-Ing. Lars is currently serving as the Vice President of Global Engineering Services at Woco Group since January 2021. Prior to this role, they held various managerial positions at Voith Composites SE & Co. KG, including Managing Director/CTO of Voith Composites GmbH & Co. KG and Managing Director of Voith Materials GmbH & Co. KG from 2008 to 2020.
Before joining Voith Composites, Dr.-Ing. Lars Herbeck worked at Deutsches Zentrum für Luft-und Raumfahrt e.V. from 1997 to 2008. Dr.-Ing. Lars started as a Senior Project Management/Deputy Head of Department and later became the Head of Department for Composites Technology. Dr.-Ing. Lars also founded the DLR Center for Lightweight Production Technologie during their tenure.
Dr.-Ing. Lars Herbeck began their career as a Graduate Research Associate at Technische Universität Berlin in 1993, where they worked until 1997. Prior to that, they gained research experience as a Student Research Assistant at the same institution from 1989 to 1992.
Dr.-Ing. Lars Herbeck received their education from Technische Universität Berlin. Dr.-Ing. Lars earned their Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Aerospace Engineering from 1986 to 1992. Subsequently, they pursued a Phd in engineering (Dr.-Ing.) specializing in Light weight structures, which they obtained from 1993 to 1997. Additionally, they also pursued further studies in Weiterbildungsmanagement / Management of learning from 1993 to 1995.
