Carolyn Engel serves as the Director for Institutional Partnerships at the Washington Office on Latin America (WOLA) since February 2023, having previously held the position of Assistant Director for Institutional Partnerships. Prior to WOLA, Carolyn Engel worked as Program Director at Fundación Aliados from January 2020 to February 2023, where responsibilities included strategic planning and program operations to connect smallholder farmers with global markets. Experience also encompasses roles such as Ecuador Country Director for Manna Project International, Project Assistant at the UN Food and Agriculture Organization, and Business Owner of Guayusa Lounge. Educational qualifications include an MSc in International Development from The University of Edinburgh and a Bachelor's Degree in Film Studies and Spanish from Mount Holyoke College.
