Gerardo Salvacion

Gerardo Salvacion is the Manager of Coding at Wolcott, Wood and Taylor. Gerardo has over fifteen years of experience in coding and revenue management for healthcare providers.

Gerardo began their career in healthcare as a coder for Oakton Community College. Gerardo then transitioned to NorthShore University HealthSystem, where they eventually became the Revenue Cycle Coding Education Manager. In this role, Gerardo was responsible for developing and delivering coding education to NorthShore's medical group providers. Gerardo also worked with the compliance team to review audit results and provide coding education as needed.

In 2018, Gerardo left NorthShore to become the Manager of Coding Physician Affiliates at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago. In this role, they were responsible for the coding operations of the hospital's physician affiliates.

Gerardo has been with Wolcott, Wood and Taylor since 2019. In their current role, they manage the coding department and is responsible for all aspects of coding operations.

Gerardo Salvacion has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from North Park University and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) from National Louis University in Health/Health Care Administration/Management. Gerardo also has certification from AHIMA in RHIT.
