Laura A. Annunziata

Laura A. Annunziata has a diverse work experience spanning over 25 years. Laura A.'smost recent role is as an Assistant Director of Education at the Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts since 2018. Previously, they served as an Adjunct Professor at The Catholic University of America starting in 2022.

Laura also has extensive experience as a Senior Consultant, serving as a Training and Technical Assistance Specialist, Subject Matter Expert at an early childhood education and health organization since 2017. Prior to this, they held several roles at ZERO TO THREE, including Senior Training and Technical Assistance Specialist, Senior Writer, and Project Lead from 2015 to 2017, and Senior Training and Technical Assistance Specialist, Senior Writer from 2007 to 2015.

Before their roles at ZERO TO THREE, Laura worked at CentroNia as a Director and Program Coordinator from 2000 to 2007. Laura A. also served as the Director of the Teen Parent and Child Development Program at Bell Multicultural High School from 1998 to 2001, and as the Director of the Winchester Migrant Head Start Program from 1998 to 1999.

Laura started their career as a Medical Director and Family Nurse Practitioner at the Arizona Rural Health Team in 1997, and as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Planned Parenthood of Central and Northern Arizona from 1997 to 1998. Laura A. also worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner at the Maricopa Faculty Association from 1996 to 1997.

Throughout their career, Laura has demonstrated expertise in early childhood education and care, policy, and community-based health. Laura A. has a strong background in management, training, assessment, resource development, and direct service in early childhood and clinical health environments.

Laura A. Annunziata has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Davidson College, which they obtained between 1984 and 1988. Laura A. later pursued their Master of Science degree in Family Nurse Practitioner and Bachelor of Science degree in Community Health Nursing from the University of Virginia, completing the program between 1994 and 1996.
